Criteria B /2

ATM machines are used by a lot of people in a daily fashion. The major components in ATM machines are the database, network, software, and computer. These components shape up the ATM service. In every bank there is a database of private information and what the bank accounts contain, whether it is the amount of money to the password. This database contains plenty of encryption. The database is connecter to the bank’s network. This network connects all of the ATM machines to the bank’s server which then connects it to their database. The computer in the ATM machine makes these steps possible as it is the operation device that runs the initial ATM machine. The computer runs the ATM machine but in order for all of these actions to operate correctly. Well constructed software must run the computer. The software is programmed so it can process what the customer need from the ATM machine. It could be taking money or another service such as deposite or simply taking a receipt of how much money is in the account.
